As for forming the base for a screen, the problem of getting a straight line may not be so difficult, if one obtained some foam.
One could carve it to the shape of the cabin top & then sand/file/cut a straight line along the top. That should not be hard using cardboard scribed to the shape & taking small cuts at a time. One could take it to a GRP moulder & have a section made in GRP with flanges for bolting to the deck. A typical firm would be G Eeles at Brightlingsea.( they do stuff for Spirit Yachts such as all the carbon fibre work on the last couple of super yachts) I have seen how they make sections in foam then do moulding from that..
Once that was bolted down the screen could be mounted off it. Holes for ropes etc could be cast into the base to suit.
