Can anyone advise on the best / quickest way to remove a build-up of non-slip deck paint. Sanding is ok where the surface is flat but where a non-slip pattern is moulded in is it safe to use a paint remover ?

I did mine a couple of yeas ago but was able to do most with a large belt sander. I did use stripper for some small areas and as long as you don't get it onto gelcoat, or if you do you remove it rapidly, it seems to be OK. If you leve it on the gel for more than a few min it starts to soften.
