Registered an EPIRB on line

The site said we would be contacted within three weeks with confirmation.

It's now six weeks. Time to check up on it?

I would think so. I updated my EPIRB and PLB details (about 2 weeks ago) online and received confirmations emails with detail amendments within 24 hours.

edit - please ignore. the power of Google got me sorted. That piece of paper that has been lying on my desk for many months waiting to be actioned is now redundant.

Mine took about 8 -10 weeks in the end. I called after about a month and was told that mine was "showing on the database" even though I had not at that time received any written confirmation

Did mine in Jan and it took some time to come through. I contacted them to double check it was on their system, which it was, and they said that they were still weeks away from completing it.

Wouldn't worry about contacting them till at least 10 weeks - unless you are going offshore and need the piece of mind.
