Not much to choose between them. Batteries are a commodity (well most are) so once you have decided on the specific make and model only price and availability is important. Tayna are generally competitive, but I have bought from County Batteries primarily because they were the only one I could find that had the specific battery I wanted in stock. Have also used Shield because they have a local depot and they did a good deal for me on on a pair of "ordinary" LA batteries.

I always use Tayna batteries and great for price and delivery.

I have two Varta 140ah leisure batteries on board but the Bosch ones seem to be identical too.

Much more brands than actual manufacturers.

One of the biggest, Johnson Controls, was behind Exide, Varta, Optima, Tudor and more (+ private labels to car makers) but sold their division to Clarios in 2019.
Johnson supplied more than 50% of the US market.

As with others above I've used Tanya, Battery Megastore and Advanced Battery Supplies over the years and been happy with them all. For our previous boat I bought a budget-priced 100Ah AGM battery from Advanced Battery Supplies which was still going strong when we sold 6 years later. Our current boat came with dud domestic batteries, which I replaced with another 2 of the same 100Ah AGM batteries from ABS (£100 each at the time) and they are still going strong 10 years later.

If you are buying batteries online, make sure that they will fit your battery box, as returning them for exchange can be expensive. If the batteries weigh over 25 Kilo each, then regular carriers may not be willing to take them. You may also have to describe them as accumulators, as some carriers list batteries as prohibited goods. In addition, you will have to pay for the delivery of the replacement batteries.

Bristol Batteries (branch in Truro) sell Yuasa and Exide as well as other brands. Interestingly they also have a cheaper basic range that is on their shelves with no labels, and if you buy one they stick an label on it, the exact label and price depending on whether you want a longer warranty than one year. I have more than once taken a battery to them for testing, and they have said it was OK rather than just sell me another.

I tend to use a Varta starting battery and Yuasa services batteries.
