Recommendations for liferaft service agent

What make?

Seago will service there own liferafts and will collect from and redeliver to any chandlery where that they deliver their goods. So, matters not how far you are from them, only whether your boat is close to a chandlery stocking Seago products.

I'll be using them for my liferaft service in the next couple of months.

Ocean Safety in Southampton are excellent, when I had mine done they were quite happy for me to see it blown up and had the opportunity to discuss what extra items I would like to be included in the raft when re-packing (thermal wraps, etc).

Well worth a phone call for a quote.

It's no use recommending mine as they are too far away but I would advise anyone using a new outfit to ask to see the raft inflated. That way you will be able to discuss its condition and get a good idea how conscientious they are. If they decline, take your business elsewhere.

One outfit I took mine to in the Canaries told me after doing the work that they weren't agents for that make of raft so the warranty was now void. They also failed to replace the inner hermetic seal and packed the painter incorrectly so it might well have failed to inflate.
