Raymarine ST60+ Speed

I'm considering resetting this display to the Factory Defaults to try and deal with a problem. I've been in contact with Raymarine support about the original issue but they've gone quiet and their answer on the reset was vague. Has anyone done this, and if so does it lose the logged mileage or only reset the units of measure? The manual is silent on the consequences.

It loses everything.
Mine has a habit of doing this in the winter if not powered for a few weeks.
