My depth sounder has gone on on the blink and I am stumped why. Who is the "go to" person to call? We are new to Chatham. Cheers.

Ask in Pirates Cave or Gillingham Marina Shop, I feel sure they will know. It might be Duncan Ross, the rigger based at Chatham Marina.

Thanks. I spotted a psi marine van on Saturday. I'll try them too. Just wanted a recommendation really. Hopefully we can get it sorted without a haul out. We have a through hull transducer unfortunately.

Are the connections on the back of the display scrupulously clean? It doesn't take much of a bad connection to stop these things working.

Not sure how you have it set up but would echo Cantata's advice. Worth removing the connections and spraying with switch cleaner. I have to do this annually with our Raymarine DSM unit, all the leads have been changed but regardless when the depth disappears it is time for a spray.
