I have an American boat which has the US spec radio/cd fitted. Is there a UK replacement which will plug and play whilst still being able to use the control pad at the helm. Ipod connection as well.

Have you tried retuning it? FM is FM - MW is MW - it is on the boat so runs on 12 volt. As to the Ipod connection - probably look to Fusion for the marine answer.

As in my American trucks and cars I have owned the FM will only pick up even number frequencies where as the UK are even and odd numbers. Therefore the radio cant pick up all the channels.
Can anyone shed any light on how you remove the set from the panel. There are not any holes that I can see to fit a removing tool?

If you just want to play from your ipod try one of the griffin itrips which tune into a frequency and transmit from the ipod to your radio. The only problem is that the volume can't be controlled from the ipod (which will probably be on deck) only by the radio
