Quite a dear year!

No, we are allowed 3 bags each @ 23 kg per piece!

Thats a lot of shopping - puting in some overtime at work soon I expect!

I may have spoken too soon, she just bought 2 handbags and 3 pairs of shoes........
:(

Well, if the handbags are big enough, she could always put a pair of shoes in each one, then of course you could both carry a handbag onto the plane as hand luggage...

I make that over £7K which is about what it costs me.....

Just out of interest, does anyone know what typical annual running costs of a Villa in Spain would be??

Luxury! Now I have finished adding and changing things on the boat, I hope to come down to that sort of level!!

Actually rust is the one thing I don't have!! And it was the newfangled 1970s engines that had to be replaced - that is the problem with modern technology, it just doesn't last.

I don't think the handbags would go with MY shoes...... :)

It's like comparing a five star hotel in Glasgow with the Ritz though isn't it?

Position, position, position. As the estate agents might say...

Not on a boat dahling.

New Boat

She looks fabulous. I couldn't believe it was the same boat that had been there before. Look forward to seeing her cruising.

Hear Hear !!

I have just compound polished the sides / stern of our new boat today , and will be antifouling it tomorrow .

Hope to see some of you on the river later this year / next year . I won't be using it much over the winter as the river can get a bit wild in the Teddington Weirstream ( where it lives ) and it only has a 9.9 four stroke on it.
