Question for Kim (or IPC)

We have subscribed to both MBM & MBY recently. At the time we took out the subscriptions we said that early in the year we would want both mags posted to Spain for obvious reasons. No probems we were told.

Now having passed on the address of my Villa for the redirection we are told they cannot do it as the address is too long? Ehh? Ever heard of that before anyone, 8 millions letters posted everyday in England and how many come back saying "sorry address too long"

Whats all that about for christ sake. Bare in mind we are spending a fortune on ads this year in both mags.

Just when I thought I knew the answer to every subscription query up pops a new one.

Well, the boring answer without checking is that your address must somehow pop out of the allowed length of address fields. We do send quite a few mags across IPC to Spain so I'm not sure how your address could bust the database fields but I'll ask the question. Please PM me with it.

As for the advertising thing, it makes a change from being accused of bias towards advertisers to being expected to offer some to a reader turned advertiser! Hopefully you know me well enough to expect that we would eandeavour to get this sorted, irrespective.

Don't suppose I would be able to afford your services as I'm off to Devon to spend more money on commissioning in a week's time, followed by charter of rag & stick in Tuscany the week after. Life's a bummer isn't it!!
