So why not a Fairey Boat?

Admittedly if you budget is 10k you wont get much.

I thought the Tropicana in Southampton was way too expensive too, 48k awful lot, wot about an omega 828? or a Levi? (v similar to a tropicana) a Pachanga?

For sale, 1970 Triumph Spitfire-sold, 1947 Lambretta, 1922 Great grandmother, PM for details.

Now, now, I wasn't shoutin' at u' But just because I'm a ragpotter should tell you something, I have a foot in all camps, I still lust after a swordsman and if I ever swallow the anchor, would love one for playing with! Mind you I'm not sure I would be able to manage the maintenace by then!

Amazing isn't it, you say nice things about the guys prospective boat .......................................then get slagged for it! Nothing to do with being shaken rather than stirred at the moment, but thanks for the defence! It is a pretty boat! Bet it goes like greased weasel shit aswell!

So why not a fairey. Well for one, I can't afford the one I want or the new Swordsman. Looked at one at LBS. Fell in love with it, but they wouldn't take the wife as part payment. The other reason, I wanna use it not spend all my spare time keeping it upto scratch. Problems of being self employed, you have to be around when the customers want you.

I did think the Triana was well over priced, new engines or not. It was a hell of a lot of money for a boat of that age and size. People may think other wise, but when I asked, the price was firm with no leeway.
