4 July is a triple clash for me so am unlikely to be there. No3 Son's birthday, RNSA meet and this!

The cafe near Limehouse does an excellent fat boy breakfast! Health alternatives too. Had a pig out this morning!

My youngest daughter has just announced she's getting married next year so who knows where I will be! Will appear at Qboro if we are free, though, definitely.

Thank you kindly although I had little to do with it. At least I can stop dreaming about a bigger boat now - no chance.

A bit of lateral thinking here.

Get a bigger boat, and gift 8/64 of the shares to the lucky couple on their nuptials.

You get a bigger boat, and they have pride of ownership, and feeling jolly grown up indeed being bona fide yacht owners.

Now look here, you'd have my wife to deal with over these suggestions, not me, and anyway we've hijacked the thread so I think this debate should cease!

A provisional booking as been made at Limehouse for 6 boats. I am awaiting confirmation of the depth as we will probably be put in the visitors' corner which is on the far side and it is a bit shallow over there. There is NO access to this pontoon other than for the nimble footed by ladder, or by water. Having discussed with some forumites, we thought that would be ok as there will be enough dinghies to share around for ferrying to the facilities. More boats can be accomodated by either squishing up or rafting, but we have at least secured the spot in theory. Nearer the time we can see what other space there is in the marina. Also, plans are afoot to improve this corner by putting in an access ramp, but time will tell. There IS water and electricity.

I've booked for up to a week from 5th July.

Jane and I are definitely up for this! Just hope we get the weather this time!

We can do a bit shallow, in fact, it's an Erbas speciality :ambivalence:
