suggested it earlier, but havent been in there for a number of years so I dont know the condition of the pontoons/facilities (they were pretty tired last time we were there) Position should make it much more popular than it is, and it was obviously an underfunded development. Allowing the old paddlesteamer to disintegrate has to have been the marketing disaster of the half century.

Believe it was taken over in the last couple of years, and was looking a lot better when I walked around earlier in the year. Agree about the old hulk....what a mess.
(great anchorage opposite for some of us /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif ).

Now, can someone kindly enlighten me as to where the Harold Hayles pontoon is exactly in Yarmouth? ....have tried all the usual searches. Have only been inside the hbr a few times as usually prefer to be at anchor.
