I found the original anode that went in the water in September 2022 and changed in June 2023, so 9 months. The next anode was in the water for 3 months. The phot shows the two side by side. The first anode weighs 188g and the second 358g. So the difference (assuming weight loss is time dependent) between a 9 month and a 3 month loss is 170g or roughly 30g a month. The original weight is approx 450g (358+90). Assuming the anode remains attached it should last 12 months comfortably. However the first one was partly detached because of excess loss around one bolt hole.
Hopefully the changes explained in the first post will reduce the rate of loss and be more like post#18.
