Clicked on a thread about PWCs in Brightlingsea and found myself reading about Belgium Beer. Thought I had been sent to the wrong thread for a minute. Talk about Fred Drift.

British is best & don't you forget it !!!One assumes the the "english" beer being so stoutly defended is the stuff that looks and tastes like the brewer finished washing up the remains of last Sundays roast in it ..........before pouring it into a barrel and slapping some daft badly spelt name on the label ?
At no time did I say that it was English. I said that one could get it in SE England ( this is after all the East Coast Forum). I also said that BRITISH was best; & it is. Although it is a bit of bummer that you use AMERICAN hops to make it. Still, I cannot help it if you have an identity crisis. Probably comes from flogging all your fishing quota to the Spics & having to eat dodgy crabs instead (when the Frogs allow it)Point of order.... Proper Job isn't English... It comes from my country of ethnic origin (and cause for me being an ethnic minority)... i.e. Cornwall....![]()
