Hi,

Can anyone tell me where I can get a propeller from? I'm after a 3 bladed for my Yanmar 2GM20 Saildrive.

Many thanks,

Look at the adverts in the back of any yachting mag, there are several big suppliers. I've found Lake Engineering in Poole to be very helpful.

Clements Engineering (St Neots) Ltd, Tel 01234 378814. (Don't know if they have a website) They made me a new prop last year, and their service was excellent. Prop ready 2 days before they originally said, and superbly engineered. I also thought their price was reasonable, - £207 + vat. for quite a large one at 17"x17". Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

contact Les Hill.

They provide sterngear for most of the S Coast marine engineers and have a number of proprietary/specialist props in stock.

He'll also work out for you the size/pitch required for your boat. I'd guess 14" x 12". 2-blade fixed should be around £100.
