Is it worth antifouling the prop on my sailing cruiser? Normally I just polish it, as I assumed that it would erode off very quickly. But as it will be sitting in a marina berth over the winter unused, I thought it might give a bit more protection. I am using International Micron Extra

This year I have found it a waste of time antifouling anything. You should see the boats in the Beaulieu river they are covered with weed and barnacles.
My prop which I antifouled (with International prop antifoul) this year took only a few weeks to start growing weed, so my advice is don't bother.

For the past few years I have been antifouling my prop and saildrive leg with MPX - horribly expensive but very effective, with an added bonus that the saildrive anode wear is much less than before.

Yup International MPX is what you want. Now know as Tri-Lux.

There've been some posts in the past about using lanolin to anitfoul props, which seemed to work for some people.
Doing a search may find the posts.
