Hi again,

How do you go about proving ownership of your boat if there was no paperwork with it when bought.

if the boat your buying is in a boat yard or marina check with the office if the bloke owns the boat .
if its at someones house ask to see the insurance policy with his name on it.

Not easily. The only thing Part 1 takes is a builders certificate or paper trail of owners. You can always try the original builder or a broker if you know they were involved.

If you dont have so much as a receipt then its buyer beware.
