Hi I need to sort out the wiring on my mid 70s Project 31 Cruiser, lovely old girl but the electrics are ailing, would anyone have a wiring diagrame I could have or any advice on where to find one. Thanks, John.

Sorry but the chances of such a thin existing is less then zero. Very, very unlikely one was ever produced for the boat back in the 70's and even if one was, so many things would have been upgraded, changed or otherwise altered that it would be useless.

Afraid Paul is 100% correct.
It is virtually impossible to discover wiring diagrams even for much much newer craft.
Then add into the birdnest added bits of wire , the purpose of which is not obvious and long ago disconnected and the result is a nightmare.
Spent ages on a Princess 33 simply attempting to remove anything not actually connected to anything, everything from old fashion clear twin lampflex to electric lawn mower cable.
To solve problems with non functioning electrical stuff on the boat , admitted abject defeat and wantonly added new wiring for the next owner to puzzle over.
