The list, which like everybody elses had come down back to a reasonable size, and all was going well.

The mast has been down for a re-rig, and is complete. So today just getting ready to get the thing back up. Looking forward to getting some time on the water at long last.

Then found the bolt that hold the gooseneck, and has an eye for the mainsail tack + reefing horns (ie a combined fitting) is missing. Now it was on the mast when I took it down, and was on with a nylock nut, so looks like somebody has nicked it. Out of the various things on 'the list' which have not gone well, this really annoys me, particularly since I cannot find a similar replacement.

If anyone knows of somewhere that does one like this then please let me know.

Is it something like this?
boomfit.jpg

If so PM me as this is the old boom for Sirenia that fitts the mast that was bent in the sinking and is if no use to me.

Not particularly similar, although if those two plates with the horns on are detatchable and can be bolted onto an eye bolt it may work. At least you have a hole for the tack which so many designs don't have.

At the moment 'Plan A' is in the post and will hopefully be an exact replacement. If it isn't then I will be looking for a plan B. Thanks all for help so far.
