Probably a silly question... UK marinas

Are there any UK East Coast marinas that permit living aboard?

This question has probably been done to death but I can't find the answer

Unofficially, certainly yes, they make good ( free ) night watchmen

If you ask they'll probably say no.

There are couple of liveaboards at my old marina on the Orwell.

If by 'east coast' you really mean the east coast then the marina in Hull has berths set aside for liveaboards as its part of British waterways marinas or what ever they are called now!

It's against the rules in most marinas, and most marinas turn a blind eye to it provided you make it easy for them to not notice you.
