Hi
With the leg off and the driveshaft poking out the back of a kad32, should the shaft be rock solid or have a certain amount of play? Last time it was off , 2 years ago,I was surprised at the amount of play but it was all working ok so changed the boots and stuck it back together and have had no issues.
I seem to have developed a rumbling noise from the back of the boat (RIB) now , and can feel a vibration through the floor, but not constant, its when coming off the power. I'd have thought a bearing would be constant!?
Props were a bit loose a while back and it made a similar noise but got them on tight now. There is slight play between the two props, as in turning the front prop a couple of mm before the back one starts to rotate but no side to side or back and forth. Is that normal or should it be moving instantly as one, zero play!?
Thanks
