Prettiest production sailboat?

No idea. Never seen the mysterious Starlight 37. Has anybody got any pics?

Rustler tend to be too trad for me though. I like what Stephen Jones has done with this modern cruiser though - check out his notes on the website http://www.gtyachts.com/sjnotes.html

The Starlight 37 idea was ditched.

He has now designed the Rustler 37 for them.

Cornish shrimpers and cutters.
Er, mine of course, and those plywood French RS things look great
TBh lorra mainstream builders are getting more subtle at diminishing the high topside look and blending the cabin top whilst still retaining useable side decks. I think its great

If we are talking about production boats as I understand it, we have to exclude Spirit Yachts otherwise the contest would end there!. So that leaves us with the Rustler 24 (Day Boat) and Rustler 33 (Weekender), Hinckley (Cruising).

The Rustler is a Starlight 35 with a new Rustler rear end and few other changes. Personally I think they made a mistake, they should have re-worked the Starlight 39, it is a much better boat and has two heads, but what do I know?

Sorry, but that is not the case. Rustler originally intended to base the boat on the Starlight 35, but that idea was ditched last year.

The Rustler 37 is a completely new boat. The hull was designed from scratch by Stephen Jones and the only link is the fact that they are both 37 feet long.

It is possible to have two heads in the new Rustler 37, but the initial designs do not show that. Enquiries to Rustler are more and more from people that only want one. In fact, despite the base design having two, several owners have opted for only one heads recently on the Rustler 42 which is a much bigger boat.

I think the H boat is one of the most elegant designs around. Not very practical especially without guardwires but very nice looking. Fast too. No I do not own one, but frequently race against one (and lose)
