Hellow all,
have been reading this forum whilst i have been renovating my first motorboat
in the back garden.Just put the cockpit cover back on and have broken one of the press studs which hold the cover to the windscreen. It has a nut which holds it onto the screen.Could anyone advise where i could buy a new one or three.
p.s The boat is an old shetland,Thanks .

A good chandelers keep these in those funny little blister packs of bits and bobs, the ones you see on those merry-go-round display thingies.
Good idea to put a blob of silicone sealer ( or similar ) on the threads before fitting.

Alternatvely if u can't get to chandler any classis car trimming company as they are used on old british sports cars for the same purpose -might be cheaper than chandler!

By an amazing coincidence (or not) I've just bought some press studs for the Shetland I'm doing up in my back garden!

I got mine from www.pointnorth.co.uk (and was impressed with the service)
