ah an expert!

sounds like near-perfect timing to me!

Perhaps coliholic could do her share of the antifouling and wash the boat for her? And perhaps even promise not to jam her car in the driveway and help a bit more around the house for a whole week. AND a birthday card. I also happen to know where to get purple/orange dancing turkeys...

Mad, Au contraire....

OK (hands up) Tony might be a little bit mad, we had great fun on MVII - welcome to MVIII, she's in Chichester and we're even swapping berths so it's really easy (I like it simple <G>) course when the previous owners pals turn up drunk it might be a bit of an issue.

Thanks for the tip TCM was that left or right our of the harbour?

BTW I'm going to be playing the novice card for years if I can get away with it...

Now where is this Folly Inn - got to find somewhere to go on Saturday and not to France like that madman JFM suggested!

/HOT NEWS/ The boats ours.

France not mad this weekend?

When we got out boat I hired a bloke to help us around for a week. I said that praps we could go towards torquay, maybe, possibly. First blimmin morning boom off down the coast, Torquay for luinch. Next day Falmouth. Then loads of marina all the way back. Lots of peeps haven't done anything like it. And still haven't!

Weather forecast is for flattish I think, so if someone wil cruise in compnay and if you have suitable gear (radio, liferaft or inflated dinghy, flares, food, chart, garmin12, seastart membership) then I would go! Also no more snickering from lymington types who will praps go to chichester (again). Cherbourg, I think, for a first trip.

In view latest bulletin, rather concerned that you have not yet seen fit to update your profile information.
Please ensure that you rectify this situation prior to any foolhardy excursions so that we will know what to look out for in the papers etc.

On a personal note I would like to wish you and yours well with your new toy and many happy hours of diesel based delights.................
