Depends on where it's coming from.
The courier will work it out and charge you the Duty, VAT and fees.

VAT is 20% of the Value + shipping costs (NB. Value that Customs place on the item, not necessarily what you paid for it)
As for the Duty - it depends on where it comes from and which Tarrif Code the courier decides the device comes under. It should probably be 0% for comms equipment. Telephone sets, including smartphones and other telephones for cellular networks or for other wireless networks; other apparatus for the transmission or reception of voice, images or other data, including apparatus for communication in a wired or wireless network (such as a local or wide area network), other than transmission or reception apparatus of heading 8443, 8525, 8527 or 8528 - UK Integrated Online Tariff - GOV.UK
The Courier will probably charge about £25-30 to work out what you owe. You only get told the amount once it clears UK Customs.
