I tripped on a raised concrete apron in Morrisons filling station yesterday morning ( the tarmac had dropped away ), went splat with my nose n chin slowing down my horizontal momentum on a large plastic manhole cover.
shook up & a nose bleed +the backs of both hands very painful.
i decided it didnt warrant a hospital visit, got all details inc whiteness contact info ( i flew past his feet ).
well this morning both hands swollen & sore, the left one more so.
well i got up early & thought a trip to A & E was a good move.
arrived approx 08.00, 2 x rays & out by 08.45, nothing broken just sprained. i do have a few aches n pains in knee & jaw + the old hooter is a tad hurty.
Thank you Ipswich A & E team :encouragement:

Glad to hear no permanent damage done, hurt pride ? You might have been safer on the boat than around a supermarket !!

It's good to have some positive news on the health service for once.

Quick recovery and off for some R&R on the boat.

A

It must have improved since I was in charge of the department one week after qualifying.

I hope the whiteness is OK.

Hope the hooter isn't too sore, try rum :)

Been a bit of an A & E weekend all round, just spent Sunday afternoon at the Norfolk and Norwich getting some chipboard dust getting washed out of my eye, god that stuff hurts. Was cutting some chipboard in the garden (with goggles) took them off and the wind blew a cloud of the stuff into my face. Now have a yellow eye from the dye they used to look for damage but luckily just scratches and some antibiotic drops.
