Well this is an interesting development to the Sargassum problem. They're turning it into gas and powering cars with it!

That's fantastic. I've posted on here a few times about the increasing volume of this weed during East to West crossings. I'm delighted that there is a way forward for using it as a biofuel. The inventors should be Nobel prize contenders!!!

Let's just hope petrol cars remain available to consume it! Although in theory it could also be a cooking gas I guess

That makes it uneconomical for most uses.

It'll likely just be the LPG kit, so already a common conversion

Imagine the whole caboodle on a ship. Scoop up weed, turn it into gas, run your engines.

LPG is almost the price of petrol now, won't be long before this is taxed out of existence I reckon
