off this weekend to do the course. ( my sailing club wants any rescue boat helms to do the course).

As I have already done dayskipper practical and theory. is it similar ?

Ho hum. If you've got Day skipper then, imho, you have a higher level of qualification than PB 1&2 already and should be able to breeze through it - though I can't quite see why they want you to do it in that case. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

There is an RYA safety boat course which sits alongside PB 1&2. Are you sure that's not what you're going to be doing?
