Default Power tilt trim problems

I purchased a power tilt/trim motor from a company called DB electrical (dbelectrical.com) a company in Tennessee.

The motor I purchased has no brand name on it. It looks fine but it came with a different wiring harness and I don't think we are getting it connected up right. We had to replace the solonoids with the ones they sent. We have followed the instructions and get no success.

what happens is that we throw the tilt switch and the solonoids click slightly and the motor does a little kick, jerck , thump whatever it seems like it doesn't move after that. We thought we should feel it spinning. Anyhow we finally just connected it to the baddery for a very short time and it does the very shame thing and the connection arks and welds the wire to the connector. It's mounted in it's proper place we did not do this with it out of the mounting. It will blow the fuse if you leave it connected long enough.

The number we used to order the motor was TRM0056 which I think was a part number from a dealer here. Here is a link to a picture of the motor which looks very like the one we took off of our motor
