another bargain from the pound shop, 12v 9 led mr16 , going in the shed , so will let you know how good they are :cool:
 
well they are in now , multi polarity , .5 watts , will go in tonight when its dark and put them on , and leave them , 90 amp battery with a panel on the roof should test they .
 
Just on a similar theme. I have bought a few 220vAC LED bulbs for house from China. They tend to have 60 or more LEDs wired in series around them. Most have failed. This because I nievely thought that 220v is just the same as 250vAC. Not so. They have a very crude rectifier circuit and resistor to all the LED in series. The higher voltage causes one of the LED to fail so stopping all of them. I have ordered more described as 95 to 260vAC hoping the regulator will cause the bulb to last longer. Also chose type with 3 high powered LED rather than many small. just a warning never any problem with 12v LED. good luck olewill
