Just returned from a couple of weeks relaxing (as opposed to boating) in the Bay of Pollensa (Majorca). Very nice it was too.

Few observations from my trip.......

Things we like:
Big new Pershings
Azimut Jumbos (sorry but anything less than 100ft isn't quite as impressive)
Lots of totty
Tapas
San Miguel
1hr 45min flight
Cracking weather

Things we don''t like:
Sunseeker Predator 75's (look rather ridiculous already)
Nine year wait for a berth in Puerto Pollensa
None of T48's there were Matts (thereby eliminating our chances of blagging a ride)
Rip off charter prices
Too many foreigners

Re: nearly agreed

Hi again. Which Pershings so u like then? They are mentally expensive, the 70-something being towards 2million and mostly swimming platform, but there's a silver 88 somewhere which looks the absolute biz. Agreed the sunseekers look a bit weird now, praps right for 1999. jfm shd be out there with a squadron 55. Next time praps take a portable vhf to experimentally call up?

Re: nearly agreed

Matt,
Looked at Pershing Web site and now believe mystery boat was a 37ft ish Gobbi. Very stylish it looked too.
Any news on the build of your new vessel? About time you gave us the full run down of the spec.
Pete
