Last update 02/12/2003 - which could also be 12/02/2003

If you know the boats original name and the year of manufacture, then if she was part 1 registered there should be an entry in Lloyds list, probably in the year following commissioning.
Good hunting!

Unfortunately, no the radio callsign won't help you to find any history and that's not just because of the Data Protection Act. The database is a SAR resource and doesn't hold historical records as they are of no use in SAR operations again MARS wont help as it only holds what we send to it.
Doctors, go here http://www.gmc-uk.org top right click on check a doctors registration. enter Davies in surname and search. Plenty of Davies with initial G, some in london. With that info, you may be able to trace using www.192.com from directory enquires and electoral roles

See my earlier post, I suppose its possible that Tyler could have moulded for Nicholson. My list of call signs misses your particular one but brackets on either side, if you have a sail number ie 2282Y or a number like Y175369 moulded into the hull I could check back through my records.

MBQF7 is allocated to a vessel called "Palatine" on MARS entry last updated on 2 December 2003. Unfortunately MARS doesn't give any previous allocations of call signs. (See http://www.itu.int/cgi-bin/htsh/mars/ship_search.sh#start)
