I passed this poor unfortunate sole heading back in today, just as he grounded. Felt bad as their was nothing I could do to help . He's 200mtrs from Fleetwood lock gates. Must have cut the corner or misjudged the tidal flow. Its a narrow question mark shaped bend. Hopefully tonight's high tide will lift him without any further disaster.
I don't believe that's Fleetwood. I can see blue sky!!!

Good news , came hurting into the marina last night around an hour before high tide. Hopefully only dented pride.

And the one before that, a Hillyard 2 1/2 Tonner.

Worked at Hillyards in the late 1960 by then they only built the 9 and 12 ton ers.For some reason they decided to build a boat in glassfibre which was a total disaster financially and was the end of Hillyards I reckon a grp 2.5 tonner would have been successful
