port to winter a 9m twin keel on land in Scotland?

sorry, it's true, I could have been more precise. In Loch Linnhe or towards Oban. Preferably in a port with a bus line. Thanks a lot

Public transport to Kerrera or Dunstaffnage (where I am at the moment) is good. Ardfern is OK, need to work the timetables a bit. There's also Craobh, but not so sure about public transport.

Traveline Scotland website and app are useful for public transport planning.

Ardfern, very tight for space in the the winter, does fill up, need to book early, excellent chandlery, expensive.
Craobh Marina, more space but still tight and does fill up, so need to book.
Creran Marina is also good, more space than the others but popular with boats on moorings. Associates have had their boats in the shed and worked on them, very good feedback.
These three are all on the same bus rout.

Dinstaffnage Marina also has hard standing and good services, bus service and near to Oban, so a taxi ride is low cost.

On the Clyde all the usual marinas offer space onshore and have superior access to services and transport. The following are on the road north to Oban from Glasgow
Rhu Marina, Helensburgh
Clyde Boatyard, at Clydebank nearer Glasgow, good workshops.

Wow. Never found the chandlery and looked more like an industrial wasteland. May have just gone on a bad day.

Depends if you want a nice environment or somewhere to stick it.

For me a winter ashore in Scotland requires a safe and secure yard which is diligently managed for which Creran Marine has a good reputation. A nice environment is less important for boat storage I'd say.

Being close to Glasgow has advantages particularly you are not spending so much time travelling if the boat is laid up whilst oban area better when you are using the boat

Couldn't agree more.....
