Port Dinorwic

Yes I think you are right. I’m in the basin. Will confirm Sunday. Berthing no worries. I have had expert instruction. ?

Steady on. You'll give Kwakkers a big head. He'll demand tribute soon. Tea and biccie to start and then he'll move on to demanding bacon butties. It's a worrying trend of his

The nice thing about being on the Strait is that weather dependant you just turn left or right. Don’t be too worried about the swellies, I took Kawasaki as a guide first time and all I remember is a lot of smoking and pointing at rotten trees. If you get there at the correct time you’ll wonder what all the fuss is about.

Hi final question. Reading about 5knots speed limit. Not a speed freak but Anywhere I can go faster to give the engine a better run in the straits safely? Fully understand if not and get the reason for the speed limit wash etc...

5knts doesn't apply to locals apparently. You'll be fine ? And it's only for a short stretch anyway. Loads of space still to get up to speed and part the waters.

Quick update. Went early to port dinorwic and now been out quite a few times. Loving it. They have tucked us in by the back wall near the access to the pontoon. It does dry out but we are very happy there. Thanks for all the advice. Only red boat so easy to spot!
