Poor old Clive

Clive Folley (High Spirits) has just phoned me. He tried to get out of Cherbourg to come home but 9 miles out had to turn back. Contrary to the weather conditions he was given, he reckons it was a F6 and pretty lumpy.

Well! You are half right, he certainly ain't poor but he is an old git, older than me. Why! we often sit in restuarants together leering at the ladies who fondly refer to us "the old gits"
