Not on Facebook but assume QHM Plymouth has a Facebook page which mentions the Hoe at least with reference to places where anchoring no longer permitted. Imagine Facebook takes down this section resulting in critical navigational information not being available and fatal collision occurs as a result (OK I’m stretching credibility to make a point). Shouldn’t Facebook be liable for corporate manslaughter?

It's no bad thing to publish relevant info there as well to reach the widest possible audience, but nobody would seriously regard it as an authoritative source.
