Have bought a new bladder for the tank but as can be seen from the photos it's much bigger than the outer bag. Now I know it should be a little larger so the outer bag takes the strain but this seems excessive. The old one wasn't as big as this unless it shrunk! Anyone else replaced one recently?

Mine (100l) was exactly like that. Just shove it in there, as you correctly say, it’s the outer bag that does the work.

I got a new one today exactly the same but it fitted and the holes lined up. So just roll it and slide it in the outer cover stops it overfilling and splitting so you can’t do any damage

My old one s split possibly made too small though it was 11 yers old

Same here. Irritating as you end up with a crease or fold in the inner. If you empty the tank for the winter a little remains which then goes green. Difficult to get these things clean once they go green (or black, or yellow).

I remove mine when it gets cold because the creases become splits as the temperature drops. When at home I clean them by swishing about and soaking with very weak bleach with water solution. Slightly warmed water.
