Plastimo Clock Battery?

I think I'll just take it into maplins then.

Most of the dimensions are on the Maplin website. It would be a good idea to measure the battery compartment to get at least some idea which ones will fit.....a lot easier than trying judge if they will or if they wont while they are still in their blister packs.

A good watchmaker/ jewelers might be a good place to try also, but they will cost twice as much in there as in Maplin.

Our clock uses an N battery, description of shorter and wider than an AA fits. Not a Plastimo clock however. You could just go to the boat and take the clock home with you next time. Your GPS or a wristwatch or your stereo would give you time for that sail. Or a sundial.

I've got one of these Plastimo clocks in the aft cabin, and had similar problems finding the right battery. It is an N or LR1, and bought a pack of 12 from eBay. I have to say that I think the clock itself is very poor quality, and I wish I had splashed some more cash for the larger one.
