PITA new owners

After 50 plus years I have learned the skills to make the hammer work just as long as I use the right one.:o.
 
I thought the new owner problem had gone away but nope this morning he's back texting again. 'Who fixed the windlass as part of the deal?' Windlass was fine after new engine batteries were fitted, by our engineer ( 2x6v) he has subsequently had somebody else messing with battery to inverter connections, may have fkd it up there. I just texted back 'warranty has expired, currently busy'. His number is now blocked.

:highly_amused::highly_amused:the 'do not disturb function on my noo fone blocks it from ringing, simply rejects calls to voicemail, and delays text acceptance until turned off, no message of call blocked to the caller/texter. I have also allocated a special ringtone to his number now that goes 'Arsehole calling, Arsehole calling, warning! warning!an arsehole is currently trying to call you on your cellular device!...' but he only texts, never actually rings me.

I was only calling you to invite you out for dinner and drinks , for all the help you given me . At the same time to ask you why every time I turn the starter key the engine start .

;);) The key does not actually start the motor, there is a push button starter on the panel, the key just turns on the engine alarms and instruments circui, that may be why you had problems?:p
 
Another update the freakin PITA now says the windlass is not working and 'our' agreement was to repai/replace before completion after is was not working on the survey. IT was traced asa a bsattery problem, bsattery replaced and windlass working thereafter but not now again apparently, says it is corroded and seized up, wants it replaced now as 'we have a contract'. I called to brokers and they too have been pestered, the bastard is actually now threatening to sue them and us and wants his money back:highly_amused::highly_amused::highly_amused:. Apparently he asked the surveyor too to go check for damage after hurricane Matthew, there was none, but the surveyor refused to get involved in what he suspected was an attempt at fraud.

You can see where Trump found his dumbos to vote for him.
 
I hope that you have kept all his texts as evidence to show that he does not know how to switch things on.

Can you get somebody to check it is not working or if he has broken it.

I have his texts still on my phone but cannot find a way yet to print them off. I am waiting to talk to my old maintenance guys to see what they say as he was using them and probably abusing them too.

I can see why so many Mercans resort to the Colt 45 solution.;)

Or this guy is a totally fruit cake , other wise your making this all up .
How long has this been going on ? A few months ? Give me a break .

Dear Robin,
What a terrible story!
Sorry to impose but I thought you might have a little more time available now.
I have a friend in America who recently bought a boat and is having problems with the windlass. I think he is near you. Shall I PM you the details and you can take if from there?
