Pipedream's progress in the Jester Challenge

Re: Pipedream\'s progress in the Jester Challenge

Can anyone give me the web address - info on how to view the "racetrack thingy" on the Jester forum?

Thanks in advance - Gary

Re: Pipedream\'s progress in the Jester Challenge

To be strictly correct it would be Bernie that gets Lakesailored if Gary thanks you for the information even though you were not the first to reply.

You're just too slow at typing /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif must be Bernie's nimble fingers that got her there first /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Whoever was 1st - found it. Interesting, almost makes me thinking of trying sailing (NOT! - too scary for me that far out).
Missed voice message from Alan 8.45 tonight, light winds - sounded in good spirits. I've some Images of them setting off from Plymouth but unsure of how to post on here, let me know if anyone wants them e.mailed (garyc@f2s.com) Thanks agin!

Also have a couple of other East Coasters on the starters list both out of Wivenhoe. Paul (Noddy) on Stingray and Bill on Edith Kate. no info on either yet.

Re: Pipedream\'s progress in the Jester Challenge

Sounding good /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Only 82nm VMG (distance nearer to finishing point) but passed the 500nm mark. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Pipedream\'s progress in the Jester Challenge

Sounds like he is on Starboard tack, beating, which would make him slower.

Re: Pipedream\'s progress in the Jester Challenge

Even in the Atlantic eh - want to go SW and guess where the winds coming from /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif NE to go up the Wallet, SE to go to Ostend Bah Grrrrrr /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Re: Pipedream\'s progress in the Jester Challenge

I notice the Sonata has dropped out. Does anybody know why?

Must admit after getting as far as Germany in one (including two bouncy North Sea crossings) my hat went off to him for trying, but couldn't help thinking that he would be lucky to make it.
