I think you are using the 'URL' instant mark-up tag when you should use the 'Image' tag as above.

Apologies if I am sticking my oar where it's not welcome.

Thanks all, always appreciate help!, mainsail did look horrible but was making 5.8 knots in 13 knots of wind, still what could I have been doing with it set correctly?. Cheers Ming

My favourite posts on this forum is seeing the photos of good summer days under sail

In my case not under sail (always hard to get a good picture of our own boat, most photos are from our boat) - here she is tied up after a great days sail, we are off to the pub knowing that there is another great days sail coming up the next day - nothing better!

Hey Cuchilo,

apart from you, Unit18, Pheran, and meself, this post appears to have become a hanky-saily-boaty kind of thing;

as I believe that boats is boats (and probably ultimately aspire to a saily boat thing, but not that practical on the Thames) I am going to post a picture of a v.good friend's boat (which I have done a good amount of skivvying on) because she is extremely beautiful (the boat, not the skipper)

I offer you trutz:-

Ive also noticed i'm the only one still with the same 1971 tub /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Has everyone upgraded or something /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Oh well , i love her /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Another pic from the Wey . Moored stern to stern for a very practical reason . As the evening draws on you can retire to your boat with SWMBO who will no doubt go into the cabin to keep warm . This allows you to open up the back of the canopy and carry on drinking with your mates while still on board to reply to any questions that she may ask /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
