GC1 had been reading through the posts and noted someone had said there was a shortage of photos , he snapped these off today and asked me to post.

Pete's impression was the show was empty of punters but full of salesmen.

Sunseeker were busy.

All I have herd , Janeau sailing boats are going well ,made in France, shipped here by road and then the French are buying them and then sailing back home.

Anyway, here are the photos
perhaps others can say who are in them, YBW stand and I think Pete is in one photo ?

I think Pete is the one in the middle of the two Dolly birds ( Green tweed jacket)

OK I can see stands and the guys manning them - but were there any paying customers?

From the pictures it looks like not?

It rather depends on what time the photos were taken.

I seem to remember he did this a couple of years back: taking photos around closing time to illustrate how empty it was.

No idea why.

I dont think they were taken at closing time.
Pete phoned me at 1900 hrs from home to say he had sent some photos by email.

He would have had to get from the show to his house , read the YBW forum and then download and email them to me.

All this along with feed the dog put the cat out muck the stables out check the post/emails and what ever else you do when you get home from work !

Unless the show closed at 1500 they were not taken at the close of business, even 1500 hrs would be pushing it for the photos to have been taken, would you like me to ask him ?
Would it be easier to invite him back so he can answer his own questions ?
All IMHO. I have no idea if Pete even mucks his own horse out or not ! (do southerners still have horses ?)

How come every time I post a photo of Pete it vanishes /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

That was quick, thanks Pete /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I didn't have to ask, Pete has sent me an email.

The photos were taken at 1553 according to the data on them.

Looks like Fairline are doing a great job at keeping punters at bay. Bouncer at top of stairs and three dolly's with AK47's ? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Very pleased actaully we had a smashing day, dont ask me why or how but we smashed our daily target BUT it was a very queit day, pitty no one has a camera to take a pick of the stand now as it would tell a very different story.

For the record 2 - 4 is a quiet time on our stand.

GC1's photos were a fair reflection looking at the web cams.

I know that Janeau had a stand full of punters but they were by invitation and kept pouring the Champagne 7 glasses to one person !

At least some will have enjoyed the show /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Is anyone actually going ?
Can we set a challenge ?

7 free glasses fo champagne ?

Start on JAneau ( say the cost of red is making you switch to sail ), see how pi55ed you can get, then move round to see who else will try to keep you there with booze /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

BTW
best know how correct sp of Jeanneau /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
