Perkins 4.108 color

Perkins response

After sending an enquiry to the official site of Perkins/Sabre in UK, I received a reply from the Italian Perkins representative saying that the official colour of the 4.108 is “Pantone Blue 287”.

That code indicates a darker blue than I expected and I wonder if the forum friends, in particular the ones who actually worked at the plant, have comments.

That pretty much matches the spare one I have sitting under the bench in my garage!

Macnortons is indeed the original colour as I remember. However time and photography can shade things a little.
