Hey I know a Trudie in Brighton. But don't think she uses the net. She is in her nineties. She used to live on East Street, on the building that overlooks the Palace pier, and the cinema.

She had a deep, throaty, genuine laugh, like the sound a dog makes just before it throws up

Are you sure its a Trudie with an ie as there aren't many of us about.
I'm not in my 90's and I do and can use the net.
Oh and the Cinema in East Street has been a pub for a few years now.

Yupp definately with an ie at the end... Not been to East Street for a long time. I think they were showing Caligula when I was there.. I must have been about 12 at the time.

How bad is teh damage to the pier?
