Hi Paul as you probably read I changed the two filters on port engine last Sat lift pumped up to filters fuel
coming out tightened bolt fired up for very short period then stopped. Attempted bleeding injector pump
as per instructions still failed. Will be having a go this Sat with Jim (tr7v8) from the forum any tips.

Send me a pm next time please, there are 2 bleed screws on the injection pump, bleed untill fuel pouring out, then slacken of 2 injection pipes crank engine untill fuel spits out then tighten up, check stop solenoid is not stuck as well, usually there is no problem bleeding these engines????.

If I get any 'odd' results back from my mucking about I'll let you know. Strongest suspision at the moment is diesel bug though I'm not convinced. Theres a lot more to this story than I've got time to write about here. Just say that there are two brokers sitting on a fat wedge of cash and me without a boat going at all well in the South of France waiting to get it back here!!

Clive's engines don't have stop solenoids, they are good old reliable pull stops.

As it appens it does have buttons to stop the engines 4 in all two inside and two outside,
very modern heh.
