Outboard stuff

I've just aquired a oldish Yamaha 30hp outboard for my boat, Its currently operated via a Wheel and Throttle in a Console, but i need it for my boat operated by Tiller and twist throttle, is it possible to get a conversion package to convert to this?

Depends on the model. If it was designed originally with a tiller etc, then yes but it won't be cheap if you can find the parts. If it wasn't then it'll probably be easier to get another o/b that was.

Thanks, am waiting to find out what model it was then i'm going to try calling up a few places near me to see if i can source parts and how much.

Bill Higham Marine have a massive OUTBOARD ENGINE BREAKERS YARD . Over the past 30 years they have accumulated 1000's of engines from almost every conceivable manufacturer from 1940 to 2004 (mainly 1960-85) including many obsolete makes for which spares are NLA.
