I am currently trying find a spot to store my outboard when not in use on my Princess 33. The ideal position at the stern doesn't have any suitable rails, so I was thinking of putting a bracket on the bow rails, has anyone done this and is it practical?

I guess people don't put them up front as you will have to carry the motor there and back and risk dropping it or scraping it on the gelcoat.
Depends on your rails too, if they are leaning out I don't see it working very well.
Will also get a lot more water thrown over it at the bow.

Could add a rail or a bracket to the stern to avoid the above? You only need to keep it upright so minimal engineering.
Or hide it, our Honda2.3 is lay on it's side in the lazarette which keeps it out the way.
