I would welcome some input here. I have decided to bin my old two stroke 15hp mariner as the ignition has died and its not worth fixing. Sadly it was neglected by first owner and was not in the best of health when it came with the current boat. I'm looking for a 15hp 4stroke with remote controls.. I need something that will be happy doing nothing most of the time but will start electrically first go and not need constant fettling. Any suggestions.

I have had Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Mercury and Mariners! all four strokes and to be honest they all performed as they should considering their age etc.

In the UK obtaining Suzuki and Honda parts are a lot easier - just if that makes a difference in your purchase.
